STANFORD UNIVERSITY (2017)

Our team worked with both SunPower and Stanford University staff to help get 5 project sites back on track. A previous contractor was unable to perform and Sustineo was brought in last minute to build over 1MW of rooftop solar on campus facility locations.

Sustineo provided rapid support and expedited construction services in order to meet client deadlines. Our crews helped redesign interconnection strategies, coordinate with facility project managers as well as utility personnel under accelerated timeframes. Our team redesigned module layouts and DC circuits while setting up safety programs and creating safe accessibility of the buildings. We lifted modules to a challenging multi-tiered roof that was over 78-feet in height with a 110-ton crane. Our mechanical team coordinated roof stanchions and connections with multiple roofing subcontractors. The project started in November 2016 and concluded ahead of schedule by the end of first quarter 2017.
